This CD has been many years in the making. Many of the songs on this project were written by Stompin' Tom. We chose songs that hold the test of time when arranged and performed with love by some of the best Canadian country music stars of the day. Whiskey Jack's founder and banjo player, Duncan Fremlin; Juno nominee, Douglas John Cameron; Five time Canadian National Fiddle Champion, Randy Morrison; Country music Hall of Fame Inductee, Cindy Church and more! We hope this will inspire others to sing and record Tom's songs with a fresh voice and make them their own.

In anticipation of Canada's 150th birthday celebration, Whiskey Jack published this program in honour of Mr. Canada himself, Stompin' Tom Connors. The Rt. Hon. Adrienne Clarkson contributed an article.
