Stompin' Tom became a fan of Whiskey Jack during their tenure as regulars on the CBC's Tommy Hunter Show. Each week, Tom would join millions of his fellow Canadians and watch them sing, play and laugh on their own segment, "The Old Back Porch". What followed was a 25 year friendship and musical collaboration with Tom that produced many recordings, cross country tours and all night kitchen parties in his home. They even co-wrote some songs together. Says Fremlin, "all of our shows feature a mix of Tom's greatest hits combined with many outrageous, yet true, backstage stories of our time with Tom. This is a show that will entertain fans of all musical genres. We guarantee everyone will leave the theatre with a smile on their face and a spring to their step." Fremlin is also the author of the best selling book, “My Good Times with Stompin’ Tom” They invite you to join them and sing and Tickets are $25.

Whiskey Jack Presents Stories & Songs of Stompin' Tom
Great Village Arts and Entertainment Centre, 8729 Nova Scotia Trunk 2, Great Village, NS
These seasoned veterans of Stompin' Tom's back-up band return to Eastern Canada for the first time in years. Over the decades, they did their time standing on stage with Mr. Canada learning each night why Tom became Canada's troubadour. These weren't easy tours - Tom could be demanding at times - but they gave these musicians lessons on how to entertain that stayed with them the rest of their career....and they're still going strong. They'll sing the hits and tell the stories that followed. This is a family show that will entertain audiences of all musical tastes and age groups.
Whiskey Jack Presents Stories & Songs of Stompin' Tom
Chester Legion Presented by Chester Playhouse, 14 Union St, Chester, NS
For the very first time, we'll be presenting our show in Chester NS. It's a Chester Playhouse presentation. Note, the show will be at the Chester Legion. This is perfect. We'll be sure to sing a song that Whiskey Jack recorded in 1992. It's called Blue Berets. Tom was particularly proud of this song. He was quite moved when the Canadian Armed Forces joined with him to produce a spectacular video to accompany it's release. No money was spared. Check out the Youtube video and you'll hear one of our finest collaborations with Tom.
