Duncan Fremlin, author of "My Good Times With Stompin' Tom" will bring his band Whiskey Jack to a Legion! Couldn't be more perfect. Amherst is also home to Charlie Rhindress, author of "Stompin' Tom, The Man and The Myth". At this show, Duncan and other seasoned veterans of Stompin' Tom's back-up band return to Eastern Canada for the first time in years. Over the decades, they did their time standing on stage with Mr. Canada learning each night why Tom became Canada's troubadour. These weren't easy tours - Tom could be demanding at times - but they gave these musicians lessons on how to entertain that stayed with them the rest of their career....and they're still going strong.
