What do Flossing and The Hockey Song Have In Common?

There are two moments in our shows when the crowd loses control of their senses.  We live for these moments.  It happens at every show!

The first is when our official Whiskey Jack dancer, Douglas John Cameron begins to floss.  The reaction from the crowd is immediate and loud.  Smiles and laughter ensue.  Why does Douglas John floss?  Like the audience, he can't help himself.  His arms spontaneously begin to swing and there's no stopping them.  This phenomena has been studied by scientists around the world.  It remains a puzzle.

The second moment when the crowd becomes unhinged is at the end of the night when we begin to sing the Canadian National Anthem.  I'm not speaking of Oh Canada.  I'm referring to The Hockey Song.   Canadian sociologists have determined that more Canadians know the lyrics to The Hockey Song than any other song.   Whiskey Jack is the driving force behind the campaign to lobby Parliament to officially replace Oh Canada with The Hockey Song as our national anthem.
